Kelia Browder is an instructional leader in the Bullock County School District with over 10 years of experience and was named
Alabama’s Principal of the Year in 2026. A proud HBCU graduate of Alabama State University, she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Auburn University. A native of Monroe County, Kelia is passionate about advancing rural education, believing that every student deserves equitable opportunities to succeed and thrive. She is also a devoted wife, mother, and published author. She continuously strives to inspire and empower students, educators, and her community through her leadership and advocacy.
