About Megan Geise

Megan Geise, an educator of 22 years, currently teaches second grade at Danville Primary School in Danville, PA, where she is the mathematics department lead and the advisor for Students Preserving Mental Health at Danville High School. She received her B.S. in early childhood and elementary education from Susquehanna University, her M.S. in reading from Bloomsburg University, and her educational leadership certification from Delaware Valley University. Megan was a semifinalist for Pennsylvania's Teacher of the Year in 2020–2021 and was named an Extraordinary Educator™ by Curriculum Associates in 2022. She is currently working on LETRS training and will be certified in January 2023. She lives in Danville, PA with her husband, Keith, and three sons, Conner, Collin, and Colton.
