Kristen Braatz, Ph.D., is Curriculum Associates' director of ELA implementation. She specializes in supporting educators to provide effective and engaging literacy instruction. Before joining Curriculum Associates, Kristen taught middle school and high school English language arts and led a team of literacy coaches as a literacy coordinator. Kristen is mom to three young children who inspire her curiosity and desire to keep learning. She earned a master’s degree from Concordia University and a Ph.D. in Language and Literacy from Cardinal Stritch University.
