Julianne Scherker is an educational consultant who partners with organizations, districts, and schools across the country to create and facilitate professional learning, writes culturally responsive math and English language arts curriculum, and coaches leaders and teachers on implementing equitable, data-driven instruction. She also coordinates a grant for a school-based, extracurricular program in Massachusetts that addresses the opportunity gap. Her past positions include dean of curriculum and instruction with Uncommon Schools, founding Grade 4 lead teacher in Brooklyn, NY, founding science teacher in Bronx, NY, and a Teach for America Corps member in New York City. Julianne holds an M.Ed. in Elementary Education, with a specialization in literacy from the University of Florida. She lives in Fort Collins, CO with her husband and sweet pup, Hudson.
