Brianna Lugibihl is a middle school English language arts and social studies teacher at the Liberty Arts Magnet School in Lima City Schools (LCS) with a love of arts integration and trauma-informed practices. Brianna began her career as a Grades 4 and 5 teacher in Cincinnati and taught Grade 8 in LCS prior to her current role in Grade 5. Her experience in Cincinnati inspired her to focus on trauma resilience and educational environments for her master’s program and to continually study Spanish. Brianna shares her innovative and engaging learning strategies and experiences to make learning accessible for students of all backgrounds. In her free time, she tutors, teaches school summer camp, and travels with the intention of visiting all 50 states by the age of 35. She believes that when learning is fun and engages play, it can change lives and break generational cycles. Brianna holds a bachelor’s in middle childhood education and minors in theater and communication from Bluffton University and a master’s in education with a concentration in trauma and resilience in educational environments with a certificate in restorative justice practices. She aspires to be the contagious energy leading others to love learning and who they are.
