Monitoring Online Instruction for At-Home Learning

Note: Educators who are brand new to using i-Ready should first complete the session titled An Introduction to i-Ready Online Instruction. This session is designed as a follow-up.

In this module you will learn how to monitor Online Instruction and respond to student needs. We will discuss developing a weekly routine of reviewing Lesson Time-on-Task, Percent of Lessons Passed, and Student Lesson Alerts (if applicable).

Expanding Use of i-Ready for At-Home Learning

Note: Educators who are brand new to using i-Ready should first complete the session titled An Introduction to i-Ready Online Instruction prior to participating in this session, which is designed as a follow-on.

This session is intended for i-Ready online instruction users who want to leverage Learning Games, Close Reading lessons, or printable at-home packs and additional resources to enhance their students’ learning. The facilitator will share tips and tools for:

  • Using i-Ready Learning Games as engaging mathematical fluency and skills practice to complement existing mathematics instruction
  • Incorporating i-Ready Close Reading lessons to develop students’ text comprehension
  • Combining our printable at-home activity packs and additional resources with i-Ready Teacher-Assigned Lessons to provide blended learning experiences

Supporting Distance Learning with Ready Classroom Mathematics

In this webinar, we offer guidance that will help you facilitate distance learning using Ready Classroom Mathematics. This will include tips, planning tools, and communication templates, as well as suggested ideas on how to effectively facilitate the Try–Discuss–Connect routine.

An Introduction to i-Ready Online Instruction

Please note that this session is intended for new users of i-Ready’s online instructional resources who are NOT currently using the i-Ready Diagnostic (i.e., the assessment that is usually taken first). If you are an i-Ready customer already using the i-Ready Diagnostic with My Path lessons, please do not register for this session. Instead, please register for Supporting Students Away from School with i-Ready.

The Introduction to i-Ready Online Instruction session will provide an overview of how educators can support grade-level learning in mathematics and reading with these resources when they are away from school. In this session, we will focus on Teacher-Assigned Lessons.

The facilitator will also share tips and tools for:

  • Getting started with i-Ready
  • Preparing students for at-home learning
  • Communicating plans with families and/or caregivers
  • Using Teacher-Assigned Lessons
  • Monitoring at-home learning
  • Content-specific features, such as Close Reading Lessons and Learning Games
